My Journey & Expertise

My love affair with sewing began at home, watching my mother bring fabric to life. She passed down not just her technical knowledge, but a deep love for the craft. That passion led me to pursue a Degree in Fashion Design from Solent University, giving me a rigorous, professional foundation in pattern cutting, design and garment construction.

But as much as I love creating my own garments, I discovered my true calling is passing that knowledge on to others. Having someone have that WOW moment when they turn bits of fabric into a garment just lights my soul on fire!

Why I Teach

There is nothing quite like the spark of joy when a student finishes their very first project. Over the years, I have shared my expertise through:
